What should I do with all my old hangers?

Many local authorities operate a recycling system which metal hangers can be returned to, this is the same for wooden hangers. For plastic some supermarkets have hanger recycling bins, just take them with you when you next shop. Tesco is running a hanger recycling system they have bins in store
